Cryogenics

Our cryogenic projects include the development and manufacture of rotary machines operating with low temperature gases or liquids in the range of 4 K to 150 K. Our key customers include the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Rossendorf Research Centre or Linde Gas.

Cryogenic compressors

The single stage centrifugal compressor is designed for the exhaustion of helium vapours from liquid helium tanks. The centrifugal compressor is powered by a variable frequency drive. High quality ball bearings ensure long service life and high durability. Motor and bearing system operate at ambient temperature. Each compressor is designed according to the liquefier process specifications. Cryogenic compressors are used in research and healthcare, or in industry as helium liquefier actuators.

Cryogenic pumps

The single stage centrifugal pump is designed for feeding liquid helium to cryogenic equipment. The centrifugal pump is powered by a variable frequency drive. High quality ball bearings ensure long service life and high durability. Motor and bearing system operate at ambient temperature. Each pump is designed according to the liquefier process specifications.
Cryogenic compressors are used in research and healthcare, or in industry as helium liquefier actuators.

Helium expansion turbines

The helium expansion turbine is a small turbine designed for the expansion of helium in helium liquefier. The turbine rotor is supported on dynamic gas lubricated bearings. The energy from the expansion of helium is transferred to the rotor, which uses water-cooled eddy-current brake. Operation is helium leakage free. Small expansion turbines are mainly used in the process of gas liquefying in small helium liquefiers. Each turbine is designed according to the liquefier parameters.
