Services and Infrastructure Division
The Services and Infrastructure Division of První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. was established on 1 August 2011. The main activities of this new division continue on with the activities of the preceding organizational unit - Management and Services Division - and include, among others, the organizational, technical and service support of manufacturing divisions of the company within the following departments:
- Human Resources Management and Development
- Labour Safety
- Plant Security and Internal Safety
- Control of Grants, Development and Strategic Projects
- IT and Logistic Support
- Investment Project Realization and Planning
- Maintenance of Buildings, Areas, Machines and Equipment
- Plant Energy and Ecology Management
- Transport and Transport Logistics
- Purchase of Metallurgical and Other Materials
- Plating Shop
- System Management
The Services and Infrastructure Division has currently 90 operating personnel and 52 technical and clerical employees in both managerial and clerk positions of individual departments and the offices of the operational management of the division. Also, the top management of the division has 9 experienced managers including the director.
Management organizational chart
Besides its own manufacturing divisions of the organizational chart of První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. such as Aircraft Technique Division , Precision Casting Division and Industry Division , the division provides relevant services in the area of power engineering, transport, and maintenance of buildings, machines and equipment also to external companies and divisions occupying the premises of the company on the basis of long-term lease contracts, such as PBS Turbo, s.r.o. and the subsidiary PBS Energo, a.s.
In particular in collaboration with PBS Turbo, s.r.o. it is possible to mention the professionally controlled and planned maintenance of machines of the division in the area of NC and CNC machines. Long-term collaboration in this area leads to the acquisition of ample experience of workers, both in the area of maintenance in serial production and machine setting and in the process of control of downtimes in the manufacturing process.
In the area of human resources management and development, it is also suitable to present here the systematic and project-oriented support of the development of collaboration of the company with the On-the-Job-Training Centre, which focuses on education and training of manual workers in the area of precise engineering. Not only in accordance with this program, also the Company Training Centre was established within the Human Resources department to participate in the training of workers within a lot of the implemented production and non-production projects.
In September 2011, the Services and Infrastructure Division of První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s. in collaboration with VZLÚ Praha starts leading the coordination activity on the new development project of aircraft engines within the EU EP7 program named ESPOSA. The project name is derived from "Efficient systems and propulsion for small aircraft". A team of researchers, including 39 partners from 15 countries, will take part in the project.
